Mirza Metin & Hicran Demir
Mirza Metin beschäftigt sich seit 1995 mit Theater. Seine Schauspielausbildung machte er bei Teatra Jiyana Nû’da und Seyr-î Mesel und spielte in vielen Stücken mit. An der Istanbul Teknik Universität studierte er im Studiengang Volkstänze, drei Jahre Tanz und Musik. Er absolvierte ebenso an der Istanbul Universität seinen bachelor of arts im Studiengang Theaterkritik und Dramaturgie im Hauptfach Dramaturgie und Kunst des dramatischen Schreibens. Gemeinsam mit Berfin Zenderlioğlu gründet er im Jahr 2008 Şermola Performans in Istanbul. Viele Stücke, die Mirza Metin für Şermola Performans schrieb und inszenierte wurden von verschiedenen Institutionen mit Preisen ausgezeichnet oder nominiert. Einige Stücke wurden ins Zazakî, Türkische, Deutsche, Englische, Französische und Ungarische übersetzt. Die Stücke „Serencama Qijikan“ und „Panopticon“ wurden für das Internationale Theaterfestival Istanbul eingeladen. Seine Stücke werden in kurdisch vom Avesta Verlag veröffentlicht. In französischer Sprache werden seine Theaterstücke vom Verlag Maison d'Europe et d'Orient veröffentlicht. In englischer Sprache werden seine Theaterstücke vom Verlag Laertes Book veröffentlicht.
Die in Deutschland geborene Schauspielerin Hicran Demir hat im Laufe ihres Lebens und Schaffens einen ambigen Umgang mit Identitäten erfahren. Vereinzelung und Entfremdung sind Themen, die ihre künstlerische Arbeit prägen. Demir studierte Schauspiel und Film- und Theaterwissenschaften in Stuttgart und Berlin. Heute arbeitet sie als freischaffende Schauspielerin für Film- und Theaterproduktionen in Deutschland und der Türkei.
